Véronik Gibeau

Occupational therapist

Background and education

Véronik graduated in occupational therapy from Université de Montréal in 2003. She is also a Certified Pain Sensory Re-educator (RSDCâ). Her specific areas of interest include professional reintegration in physical and mental health, workplace visits, and working with clients suffering from persistent pain.

Training and specializations

Véronik has pursued numerous training courses to enhance her ability to provide effective care in her areas of expertise. These include pain sensory re-education, motor imagery therapy (mirror therapy), courses on ergonomics and persistent pain management, as well as mental health training such as behavioral activation therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy.

Personal life

Beyond her professional life, Véronik enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She is passionate about reading, writing, and promoting health through fitness and nutrition. She has also been actively involved with the Canadian Cancer Society for many years, serving as a team captain for the Relay for Life.
