Graduated from the Université de Montréal, Carmen has more than 20 years of experience in physiotherapy. Throughout her career, she has treated patients with various orthopedic and musculoskeletal issues and has completed numerous continuing education courses, including all five parts of McKenzie training (Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy), upper and lower quadrant myofascial system mobilization, and neuroproprioceptive taping.
Carmen’s expertise is reinforced by her diverse training, particularly in the McKenzie method, which focuses on diagnosing and treating mechanical issues. Additionally, her skills in myofascial mobilization and neuroproprioceptive taping allow her to offer highly specialized care to her patients.
As a former high-level volleyball player, Carmen represented Canada as part of the National Junior Team in 1988 and was captain of Quebec’s team at the 1989 Canada Games. Today, she remains committed to the sport, volunteering as a physiotherapist for volleyball athletes, including the men’s South Shore team at the 2016 Quebec Games.
